i wanted the sun’s fire

Each day in June of 2020 I self-shot videos with the sun. Through this period of universal helplessness I found comfort in its persistent brilliance. I tried to hold the sun in the mornings as it emerged from behind the mountains. At evening time I catch it “setting” into my heart. I thought of myself taking in its light, filling my spirit with flame. This compilation is a selection of the videos I made.
